Have you ever been to Anthony’s Cookies in San Francisco or Berkeley? They have some of the most amazing cookies. I highly recommend going if you’re in the area. One of my favorite is their peanut butter cookie. Unfortunately, it’s not on their daily menu, so if I want it, I’ll need to plan a trip around their cookie schedule.
I searched online to see if I could find a recipe that comes close to their peanut butter cookies. And guess what?
I’ve found it!
Not saying it’s exact, but it comes pretty darn close to the Anthony’s Cookies version! The recipe can be found here on Fifteen Spatulas. I followed this recipe without any adjustments and it’s so good! Best of all, it’s so easy to make!
Instead of dropping the dough directly on the cookie sheet, I used parchment paper. I love baking but hate cleanup! I made a batch of 24 cookies and my husband and kids gobbled them up (I may have snuck in a few here and there as well).
Now you can go purchase that Costco 2-pack bulk Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter (which is what I used) without feeling guilty that it will go to waste!
