Happy Friday! Here are some of my recent finds and purchases. Hope you discover something new that makes your life a bit easier and happier.
Cheesecake Factory Original 7” Cheesecake ($13.99)- I had seen this at Target many times and was reluctant to buy it but I finally succumb and it’s just as good as the one from their Cheesecake Factory bakery. The only thing you won’t have is the sour cream frosting but, you can easily make it if you want. It just involves a bit of sour cream and some white sugar. I like to add a bit of lemon zest for a nice citrusy, fresh taste.
Wooster Pelican Paint Pail ($10.46) – Okay, this one is a bit random, but I’m in the middle of painting our master bedroom and this little pail has come in so handy for trims and touch-ups. The best part is there is a magnet to hold your brush. Get the liners if you do buy this.
Clue Master Detective ($24.75) – This is an extended version of the original clue with additional characters, rooms, and weapons. If you’re looking for a family board game, I highly suggest this one. We’ve been having a lot of fun with it. My 6-year-old is too young to play this, so she “helps” daddy with rolling the dice and marking off the cleared suspects.
Solar Escape Fedora Hat ($15.99) – I found this at the Costco Warehouse and I think it may have been cheaper there but I’m not certain. This hat has a great weight and it’s a great price. I wear this during my walks or gardening. There is an inner strap that can be tied to tighten the fit. I wore it when I when cherry picking in this post.
Expo Dry Erase Markers ($9.99) – I found these at my local Costco warehouse. We’ve been playing Pictionary on game nights using a dry erase board so I love having all these different colors. Also, since school will be remote this year, I’m anticipating I’ll be using the dry erase boards a lot again. Also, my 6-year old likes having her own personal dry erase board, so she’ll definitely love the selection of new markers.
Have a great weekend!
