Friday Favorites

It’s been awhile since I’ve done one of these, but here are some of my recent favorite finds.

Naisture Facial Sheet Masks

I’ve been buying facial sheet masks from Naisture for years now and I like the ones from here because the cotton sheets are nice and thick. There is always a lot of serum in there and I can always get 2 uses from each mask. They’re great for days when my face needs extra hydration. There is currently a 20% off code, MOTHER21.

If you buy this combo, then they’re only $0.83 per sheet before taxes, which is a pretty good deal.

Herb Care Kit + Free Gift – $6.99

15 Minute Sheet Mask – Assorted – $9.50

Trader Joe Flowers

Trader Joe’s has these lovely large seasonal bouquets that are only $12.99. I love the color combination of this particular bouquet. It has a very vintage vibe to it. I bought these as a part of a gift but my daughter forgot to take this along with her when she delivered the gift so I guess, I get to enjoy them now. The rosebuds were still closed when I bought them early in the morning, but by late afternoon, they started opening up.

Always such a delight to have fresh cut flowers. Their fragrance fills the room.

Sconehenge Scones

I can’t believe I haven’t talked about these before. These are my favorite scones. I’ve tried other flavors and I think the blueberry is the best. Slice them in half lengthwise, toast, and serve with butter (or even better, clotted cream, if you have it. See below.). I’ve purchased these from the bakery in Berkeley, CA, and also from my local Whole Foods. If you live in the bay area, your local Whole Foods will probably carry them. What a great Mother’s Day idea to serve these with her breakfast in bed, brunch, or afternoon tea.

Clotted Cream

Since we’re on the topic of scones, you have to add this! If you’ve never had clotted cream, then the best explanation would be: it’s a mix of butter and heavy cream. It’s delicious! The first time I had clotted cream was when I was in England and they served scones with clotted cream and I had to ask what this deliciousness was.

French Pin Set

I love these–from the feminine packaging to the sturdy gold pins. They come in different finishes–gold, rose gold, and matte black. I got the gold finish because I think it’s the most classic looking. They come in really handy when I just want my long hair in a bun and don’t have to mess with various clips and bobby pins. Because my hair is not overly thick, I can get away with just using one pin.

Happy Friday and enjoy your weekend!
