Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2020

I can’t believe Mother’s Day is almost here. For some reason, I thought it was at the end of the month. I’ve compiled a list of all the things I would love to receive or have received in the past and have loved.

Classic Comfy Pajamas – I love a good pair of PJs.  These ones from J Crew are perfect. I love the hydrangea color the most and then the navy.

Philips Sonicare DiamondClean – Isn’t it cool that the glass cup is the charger? Costco has them in a 2 pack with a $90 discount right now. The pink one is just too cute. I already have a white one with a standard charger base. If that one ever dies, I’m definitely going to replace it with this model in pink.

Apple AirPods – I already have this and use it all the time. I use this on my daily walks and while doing mundane chores around the house to listen to podcasts and audiobooks.

Kindle Oasis – I admit! I thought this was a frivolous purchase when my husband presented this to me, especially since I had an older Kindle Fire already. The lighting is great on this. It’s lite. If you’re an avid reader, you will appreciate this too. If you do have this or any Kindle, make sure you sign up for Libby through your local library. You can borrow e-books delivered to your Kindle.

Jo Malone London Orange Blossom Body & Hand Wash – Orange Blossom is my favorite fragrance from the Jo Malone line. I love their body wash. It imparts a nice delicate fragrance without it being too overwhelming.

See’s Candy Pecan Buds – These are my favorite! I don’t need fancy gourmet chocolate with hints of cayenne. Pecan buds are my tried and true. I can actually eat a whole 1LB box in one sitting!

Apple Watch  – I already have an old Fitbit, which works for monitoring my steps so I can’t justify spending money for an Apple Watch. But, I certainly wouldn’t reject it if this was gifted to me. I like the color combination of the gold case with the pink sand band.

Davids Tea Double Walled Glass Nordic Mug – I wouldn’t mind adding this mug to my collection. Actually, I would love anything from Davids Tea. I discovered this tea shop when we went on a summer road trip up to Vancouver, Canada. I loved all the pretty packaged tea and ended up trying their tea and buying their appropriately named “Perfect Spoon” for $7.

Royal Albert Polka Rose Collection Tea Set – I have a teacup and saucer in the Polka Rose print already so having additional pieces would make me a happy lady. The Polka Rose print is really pretty– feminine and dainty. Drinking tea from this set always puts me in a better mood. Macy’s is having a sale on Royal Albert pieces right now.

Personalized Touch

Of course, if it’s too late to order in time for this Sunday, then I have the following suggestions:

Bouquets of flowers from Trader Joe’s or Costco – I love flowers with a more vintage vibe so anything in shades of white, blush pinks, and peach. Bonus points if you can put inexpensive bunches of flowers together to make them like a cohesive vintage bouquet!

Breakfast in bed and let mommy sleep in – Make Mommy a special breakfast. Let Mommy rest while the other family members make sure all the kid’s schoolwork is completed and the house is spic and span! Do not disturb Mommy!

Handmade cards – Make sure this is made with love and sincerity! Write what you love and appreciate about Mommy.

Mommy massages – Since Mommy can’t go out for massages right now, each family member can take turns massaging Mommy. I’m sure she’ll feel the love as the knots from her neck, back, and shoulders are relieved.

Hope this Mother’s Day gift guide was helpful.

To all the Moms, hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day!
